Today I have 3 swatches from the other summer 2014 collection from SinfulColors called Silk + Satin. All of these are either cremes or shimmers with what they call it a "demi-matte" finish which is basically a satin finish. Up first is Matte About Blue which is a royal blue satin with a slight shimmer. The shimmer is much more apparent if you put topcoat on it. The formula and application was fine on all of these with Real Teal being the sheerest of them all. The dry time isn't the greatest and was the biggest downfall, but I didn't exactly time it.
The second color is Pipaya which is a red/orange satin without shimmer. The satin finish is the most apparent on this one due to the lack of shimmer. You can see a little bit of visible nail line, but you couldn't see that in real life. I received a ton of compliments on this one, but I don't know if they even realized it was a satin finish.
Lastly, Real Teal is a blue green satin with a very prominent shimmer finish. As I stated above, it was pretty sheer, but I think it's worth it in the end. Also, since it was 3 coats it took longer to dry.
The Silk + Satin collection contains 6 colors, but I only have the three for you. The collection is being released this month for $1.99 at Walgreens and other mass retailers. You can find SinfulColors on Twitter or Facebook to check out what's new in their world.
