Hello Everyone,
Today, I will be reviewing an eyeshadow palette from Sugar Cosmetics. Previously, I had tried only their Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipsticks, but was interested in trying their eye products after reading so many reviews here on IMBB. I picked the variant 02 Believe. To know more about this product and how it fared for me, keep reading.

Ingredients:
How to Use:
·Start by taking a colour that is a shade or two darker than your skin tone and run it back and forth onto your crease as a transition shade
·Start blending at the point where you want the deepest colour, like the outer corner and aim toward the place where you want the lightest colour. By doing this, a gradient will be created by the colour choice alone
·Next go for the shimmer shade on the lid to get that pop. Use the doe-tip sponge applicator or a damp flat brush or your finger for that additional depth
·Use a darker shade on the crease to define the eye shape. Start applying from the outer corner of the eye, making a ‘V’, and blend it halfway through the eyelid with the round eyeshadow blending brush.
My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Blend the Rules Eyeshadow Quad 02 Believe:
As expected, the palette has a really funky graphic packaging which is housed in a black cardboard case. Product details such as ingredients are mentioned on the black case only. The actual quad is made of good quality cardboard. But, the first pan actually fell out while I was cleaning it. Thankfully, it didn’t break. I stuck it back in its slot. I feel that even though cardboard is eco-friendly, it isn’t robust. The hollow space created by the cardboard can easily be bent and the pans may fall out. For that reason, I store the quad in its outer packaging, just to offer better protection while traveling. However, I like that the palette isn’t too bulky. Pan size of the shadows is also good. The quad also has magnetic closure. The palette does tend to get messy due to fall out and also because the packaging is black in colour and the shades are light.
Coming to the shades in this palette, I wanted to pick something that wasn’t too bright, but wasn’t too subtle either. I like that there are two matte shades and two shimmery shades. I think it also would have been interesting if each of the colours had names. That would have also made it easier to identify the overlapping shades in two different quads.
The first shade is a milky light brown shade with pinkish undertones. It is also appropriately described as a beige mauve. On my medium complexion, this works as an all over eye shadow base. Nevertheless, the pigmentation is really good.
The second shade is my favourite out of all the four. It is a deep plum shade. On the eyes, it seems like a dark pink shade with purple undertones. This works best for me in my outer corners of the eyes or as a lid colour on its own. This shade is quite pigmented as well.
The third shade is a dark rose gold colour. I like using this on the centre of my lid to create a halo effect. It may also be used on its own all over the lids. It is aptly described as a metallic shade, as that is what it looks like on the lids. Again, the pigmentation is super and actually, it performs better than the mattes.
The fourth shade is a unique shade for me. It is a metallic chocolatey brown colour. The colour pay-off is amazing.
The blendability of these shades is remarkable. They are so buttery soft in texture that you can easily use your fingers to apply these shadows. They blend into each other seamlessly well. I prefer using my makeup brushes over the sponge tip applicator that comes with the quad. Overall, this was a highly satisfactory purchase.
Pros of Sugar Cosmetics Blend the Rules Eyeshadow Quad 02 Believe:
