Will's jumper is done, knitted neck down and in the round, no stitching up required, just sewing any ends in, no seams and very comfortable to wear. I will post a photo of him wearing it soon.
I was hoping I would have these socks finished by now, but I have been reading, even though I do not work, I still have to juggle my time to fit in all my crafts, I am keen to get things finished in March. Once April arrives I am outside so much more. I hope these will be done over the weekend, I want to finish my jumper, I've only the sleeves and the lower part of the body to do, it's the same pattern as Will's jumper.
Our weather is back to normal, we had rain yesterday and today, my pots in the garden were dry, so the rain was overdue, BUT it was lovely to be able to sit outside in warm sunshine (which we did for 3 days), Will visited twice, he loves our garden. It's still far to early to be planting anything, but I am beginning to think about our outside space, there is very little to do this year, watch what grows, fill any empty spaces and enjoy the garden.I feel mean writing this, but our new neighbour is not gaining any friends in our street, I think she is a person who is not bothered by anything. Already neighbours across the street are fed up with her outside lights, which are very bright being on all night, these neighbours sleep in the front of their houses. Her lights in the back are also bright and on all night, but it is not impacting on us. As the winds are here again, all the rubbish from her skip is blowing into gardens and down the street, more complaints. On Tuesday night she let here 3 dogs outside, forgot them and fell asleep, 3 hours later (2.30am) I was banging on her door to get the dogs in and stop them howling, she would not answer, so sadly I knocked on her daughters door (she lives in the same street), we were desperate to get some sleep. Everyone is asking what is she like, but we don't see her often, and we believe she does not want to interact with anyone, her daughter always speaks when we see her. The whole of Win's beautiful garden has been paved over, everything dug up, just hard landscaping, such a shame, nowhere for wild life.
